The BMW 5 Series GT was launched in 2009 and is almost a cross between the standard 5 series models and the BMW 7 series. It is designed to offer a compromise between a saloon car, an estate and an off-roader.
A particular design feature is the car’s tailgate which is constructed of two pieces and opens both as a hatchback and an estate.
